  1. Type
  2. Select a texture from the list. The last choice PICT File‚Ķ opens an Open dialog box which allows you to specify your own texture file in the PICT file format. Textures with dominant light and dark colors work best. Try using textures from Gallery Effects: Texture Art. To order Gallery Effects: Texture Art call 1-800-888-6293 extension 2.

  4. Scaling
  5. This control allows the texture's surface to be scaled by a specified percentage. Move the slider to the right to make the texture larger and to the left to make it smaller.

  7. Relief
  8. Move the slider to the right to increase the relief and depth of the texture and to the left to decrease the relief and depth.
  9.  
  10. Invert Texture
  11. Check this option to make the bright areas of the texture dark and to make the dark areas bright.

  13. Light Position
  14. Choose the position from which to sidelight the image by clicking on the corresponding radio button.
